Soilfix & Danny Green Fund

Three Directors from Soilfix, Richard Mabe, Steve Jackson & George Evans, have risen to their biggest challenge yet and entered into a 385Km charity cycle ride from Paris to Essex in May 2018.

The chosen charity is very close to their hearts, as well as being local to their Essex office. The fund focusses on children who suffer from Posterior Fossa Syndrome (PFS). The charity has been set up to support children with the effects of PFS.

This terrible condition was witnessed first-hand by one of our Directors when his close friend’s 11-year old son, Danny Green, was diagnosed a brain tumour, that then developed onto PFS – sadly losing his fight in July 2012 aged 12.

The 385Km will be covered in 3½ days, concluding in Essex on the Whitsun Bank Holiday Monday.
