As government restrictions started to open up this year, gratefully we looked forward to planning meetings OUT OUT with clients. As a night out on the tiles was still understandably off the cards, a late afternoon on the waves it was!
It was Soilfix’s first adventure to ‘The Wave’ which is Bristol’s newest inland surfing attraction.
An artificial surfing lake, providing up to 1,000 waves per hour – around a wave every 10 seconds – and generating heights between 0.5m and 2m
Coincidentally, our guests, Hydrock supported the project from conception through to detailed design, including being appointed as Principal Designer, so it seemed the perfect place to discuss how Soilfix can assist in sustainable material management for their next wave project in the UK.

Now, what happened at the Wave, stayed at the wave (a.k.a. no one took any pictures for social media – probably the wetsuits they had on!) but I’m sure at least one person uttered the words – Surf’s up Dude! (and did the little 3 fingered hand gesture!!)
