Our Story
His vision was to establish a remediation contracting business that not only ‘does remediation well’, but also develops long-term relationships with clients and provides a working environment where staff have no limits to their career progression.
He originally set up the business with a fellow remediation practitioner in Newport, South Wales. In 2007, Soilfix moved to its current Head Office in Avonmouth, Bristol. In 2013, Soilfix expanded its operation by establishing an ‘East’ office in Rayleigh, Essex and have since achieved its vision of being widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading remediation contractors.
Now celebrating 20 years of ‘doing remediation well’, Soilfix is proud to have recently become an ‘Employee Owned’ business.
For over 18 years we’ve been providing our remediation solutions across a wide range of development sites and settings, in both the commercial and public sectors. During that time our mission has always been ‘to understand and manage risk in the ground’ and we’ve developed an outstanding reputation for delivering technically robust and innovative remedial solutions. We endorse a ‘Brownfield First’ approach because it removes many barriers to construction and speeds up the development process.
It also protects our precious environment that is so important to improving our mental and physical wellbeing. Among the brownfield sites we regularly unlock for development are former gasworks, chemical works, landfill sites, shipyards and fuel storage facilities.
