Summer 2018 has been a busy one for carrying in-situ remediation works at our remediation sites. Barking Wharf has undergone large-scale Petrocleanze injection and pumping of a free-phase hydrocarbon impacted area as well as injecting a 150m long 3dME Permeable Reactive Barrier with long-term ‘top-up’ capability.
Down the road in Bromley-by-Bow, we have also used Petrocleanze injection and pumping of a hydrocarbon impacted smear zone to avoid significant deep excavation.
Two other Soilfix sites have used oxygen release granules at the base of remedial excavations to promote enhanced residual treatment.
