Soilfix have commenced a soil & groundwater remediation project in Ipswich for a large Blue-Chip client. Works are well underway and progressing well, with tank decommissioning and soil excavation / reinstatement works ongoing.
Comprehensive in-situ groundwater treatment will comprise chemical oxidation, groundwater/NAPL recovery followed by injection of PlumestopTM liquid activated carbon to rapidly reduce contaminant concentrations in a mixed plume to the satisfaction of the EA within the client’s tight closure programme.
