George Evans (Managing Director) and Steve Jackson (Director) attended the British Safety Council Health & Safety for Directors & Senior Managers course in London yesterday.
This challenging and thought-provoking course aims to inspire Directors and Senior managers in terms of their personal interest in and responsibility for the safety, health and wellbeing of people in their organisation.
Instead of the onslaught of safety legislation that usually starts Health & Safety courses, the delegates walked straight into a fictional scenario where a fatality had occurred, and an investigation was carried out. George even ended up being cross-examined in the dock during a mock trial!
The afternoon session included use of Virtual Reality equipment to carry out a safety inspection of an industrial kitchen.
