In spite of prolonged heavy rainfall, high winds and the ever-changing impact of Covid-19 and possible ramifications, works are progressing at a pace at our #Wirralwaters regeneration project. Our three land parcels (Legacy, Belong and Northbank East) are currently on schedule to complete on the first handover areas (no other unforeseen’s permitting!), which is dictated by the arrival of protected roosting birds on the nearby floating jetty in the Eastern Dock.
Soil stabilisation, development platform construction, obstructions removal and crushing are all continuing at a pace – our site management team are working to current Government guidance on COVID-19, developing initiatives to keep site staff outside as much as practicable to reduce risks of contracting / spreading this disease, including establishment of outdoor break-out areas (with nice views!). Our MD George Evans is pictured next to an old Wharf Crane, not sure this would pass current LOLER Regulations however!
