We wanted to send out a quick update to our clients and suppliers on what’s going on at Soilfix.
It’s very much business as usual!
So far our operations have not been significantly impacted by COVID-19 and we’re hoping we can keep it that way.
We are implementing new working procedures in line with government guidance including:
- Working from home where job roles allow. For now we have reduced the number of personnel working at our offices, and put contingencies in place to run all office functions from home should we need to;
- Reducing meetings or changing to phone / video calls. Soilfix can arrange conference and video calls on Microsoft Teams where we can share information on screen;
- Good hygiene practices around our sites and offices including regularly disinfecting surfaces and washing hands;
- Minimising contact between staff. Observing no hand shaking and a 2m standoff;
- Reducing gatherings/meetings in small unventilated spaces. Where possible, we are encouraging our site daily briefings to take place outside and establishing outdoor ‘break areas’; and,
- Continual dialogue with our key supply chain (plant hire, labour agencies, fuel suppliers, laboratories, remediation additives and so on) to stay forewarned and update our plans.
