EIC recently published their Brownfield First report – EIC-Report-Brownfield-first-Supporting-levelling-up
There are some interesting suggestions to government to help increase brownfield development such as introducing a greenfield surcharge and updating land remediation relief. Also some useful nudges in there such as over-restrictive interpretation of DoWCoP.
Some or all of this gaining traction with government would help boost our sector
