Soilfix were pleased to feature in the news last month – thanks to Highways Magazine for featuring the Environmental Restoration Works carried out for Carnell Group and National Highways. The project, carried out at a stormwater balancing pond on the M180, adopted an innovative and sustainable approach to de-silting the pond without significant disturbance.
The works have significantly improved the capacity of the balancing pond, creating a significant environmental betterment, whilst preventing flooding and improving the environment for local wildlife.
