Soilfix is a soil and groundwater remediation contractor committed to reducing its operational greenhouse gases and achieving Net Zero here by 2030, as well as working in collaboration with clients and the supply chain to reduce carbon emissions whilst delivering all projects.

In particular, Soilfix will:

Comply with all applicable environmental legislative requirements and maintain good relations with all regulatory bodies.
Strive to reduce the environmental impact of remediation activities by utilising the most sustainable technology possible within the project constraints of time, budget, and remedial targets.
Encourage staff to reduce the impact of travelling by avoiding unnecessary journeys, vehicle sharing, utilising public transport and cycling.
Prevent pollution arising from our activities by assessing the environmental risks, implementing suitable mitigation measures, and ensuring staff are properly trained and have the appropriate emergency equipment.
Monitor, control and minimise where practical noise, odour, vibration, and dust emissions from our operations.
Practice conservation of natural resources through the recycling of waste materials and purchase of recycled or recyclable materials, or those from renewable resources.
Reduce the use of energy through energy conservation and improved energy efficiency, wherever possible.

Soilfix has implemented a Business Management System to which this document remains a part of and which satisfies the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015.

This environmental policy will be reviewed annually to monitor its effectiveness and to ensure that it reflects changing needs, circumstances and is compatible with the strategic direction and context of the company.

All Soilfix staff and subcontractors will be encouraged and supported to adopt working practices in accordance with this policy.
