Soilfix are proud partners of Time for Geography which is the open-access, dedicated video platform for geography and geoscience education.
The video ‘Transforming brownfield sites into the spaces and places of tomorrow‘, which was developed now carries the Geographical Association Highly Commended Publishers’ Award emblem, recognising a significant contribution to Geography education in schools and colleges.
Time for Geography, Dr Rob Parker, shared a sentiment by many teachers and educational leaders;
‘The careers infrastructure we have launched together with #Soilfix this year is providing visible, structured coordination between schools, universities and industry, that has previously been a critical missing piece in empowering teachers, supporting students, and underpinning the transition from geography education to careers. The strongest feedback from the conference was that teachers would like to see more industry sectors represented where and others have led, so that we are representing the full scope of pathways that stem from UK geography classrooms.
