Soilfix were pleased to be ‘Highly Commended’ in the 2020 Brownfield Awards ’ for their groundwater remediation project at a Former Timber Treatment Yard, East Anglia in the category of ‘Best Remediation of a Smaller Site’. Category 5 only allowed an entry from a single company, but our entry was a joint entry between Soilfix, Ramboll and Regenesis

In light of the current Covid situation, the awards were held virtually for the first time – a real shame as this event is usually the opportunity for the Brownfield and Contaminated Land industry to get together annually and share successes, stories & ideas and generally having a bit of a social!
Soilfix were proud to be one of the main sponsors of the event, and our MD George Evans announced this year’s winner of ‘Best Re-use of Materials’ – a category close to our hearts having won this award for our Gloucester Quays Regeneration in 2019.
The awards were held this year in Soilfix’s meeting room in Avonmouth, ensuring 2m distancing at all times – meal of choice was takeaway Domino pizzas! Here’s hoping we can return to some sort of normality and attend the awards in person this time next year!
