Soilfix is delighted to have been awarded a further 40 weeks of Remediation & Enabling works with St. William Homes for its King’s Road Park development in Fulham.
Phase three is a complex remediation project involving unexploded ordnance, archaeological finds and close proximity to high-pressure 4′ diameter gas mains! Around 80,000 m3 of material will be excavated from the site to construct a basement for the development and manage pile arisings – equivalent to more than 30 Olympic-sized swimming pools!
As our focus builds on the St William drive for sustainability, over 90% of excavated material will be sent for treatment and reused. During this contract, we are utilising 100% solar-powered lighting towers during the darker parts of the day, HVO fuel, and hybrid excavators. As with our previous phase of work, Soilfix will be supporting St William to measure its Scope 3 (indirect) carbon emissions through the use of our bespoke ‘Carbon Calculator’ Tool. Our predicted emissions will be compared with actual upon completion of this phase of work.
We are thrilled to be continuing our collaborative and productive working relationship with the Kings Road Park team – this project provides Soilfix with a solid foundation for a successful 2023 in line with our continued growth strategy
