Soilfix Limited were pleased to see such fantastic engagement across all our sites last week during our very important Health and Safety Stand-down.
This initiative involves all sites and offices stopping for around 30-45 minutes to focus on safety and provides an opportunity to all workers to have their voices heard.
At Soilfix everyone is encouraged to report any issues and raise examples of good practice. This event provides a platform to focus on our industry and how we can improve safety across our sites.
The safety stand-down was led by our HSQE Manager Lewis Hunt – TechIOSH, AIIRSM and on their respective sites by Julian Jones Colin Hiscock and Lawrence Bell Ph.D. There were goodies a plenty from McDonald’s and Greggs to help fuel the team and we look forward to seeing the corrective actions and celebration of positive observations being implemented.
