Each quarter, the H&S Committee discuss those who have made a contribution to health and safety in the business.
Five team members were recognised this quarter, and with careful consideration, the winner of the first £100 Amazon voucher was Charlie Gurr from our Arundel site, with the runners-up winning a £25 runner-up Amazon voucher in recognition of their nomination.
1. Charlie Gurr – Charlie instigated the ‘Knowing each other’s normal’ Tool Box Talk. Charlie also suggested some other areas of focus aimed at improving engagement with site personnel.
2. Ashley Circuit – Ashley’s attention to detail regarding health and safety practises has been praised by St. William staff.
3. Ian Jarvis – for his exceptional cleaning of the welfare, making sure it is kept nice and tidy for everyone on site.
4. Frankie Lewis – Frankie’s continued efforts to keep the dust down on-site during the hot weather had not gone unnoticed.
5. Alan Dowsey –Awarded for his hard work and dedication during a very challenging project. Alan worked well to ensure he followed the task plans properly and used the correct manual handling methods whilst also working very closely around heavy plant.
