Well they left it to the last event of the entire week; however, Team GB won Junior GOLD in the S2P ‘Precision – Payload’ category at the World Space-modelling Championships held near Austin, Texas.
The team of 3 juniors, including the son of our Director, Steve Jackson, held their nerve with nine perfect launches to the nearest altitude and time….all with their precious ‘egg payload’ intact. Team UK only marginally pipped the USA to gold after judges found a crack in one of their payload eggs!
